Nothing Lasts Forever

The green leaves outside tell me a tale
Of how nothing lasts forever, no matter how perfect it may be.
The green leaves, they are bright and fresh,
Why should they dry up and fall... but they do.
That is how long their lives can be, not a day less or more.
But autumn does not last forever, it must end too.
The leaves sprout once again, as green as before.
The tree is the same but what about the leaves?
Really, it doesn’t matter if the leaves are different and new.
They are leaves- green, fresh and alive.
The tree is not bare anymore.
But, they will dry up and fall again
When autumn comes and robs the tree.
But autumn will still not last forever
Because everything must, as a rule, come to an end.
